1. Who we are
Ubuntu AI Jobs ("we", "us") is a South African online job marketplace operated from Cape Town, South Africa. By using the service you ("user") agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or 16 with documented guardian consent, and legally able to work in South Africa or the country you are applying from.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree the information you provide is accurate. Pretending to be another person is prohibited.
4. Subscriptions and pricing
- Job Seeker Premium: R50 per month, billed monthly in ZAR. Cancel anytime — access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Employer Plan: R500 per month for unlimited job postings. Cancel anytime — listings remain visible until the end of the paid period.
- All prices include VAT where applicable.
5. Acceptable use
You may not post discriminatory, illegal or fraudulent content. You may not scrape the site, abuse the AI features for unrelated tasks, or attempt to access other users' data.
6. AI-generated content
Our AI tools assist you in writing CVs, cover letters and other content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI output before submitting it to employers. AI suggestions are not legal, financial or medical advice.
7. Employer obligations
Employers must comply with the Employment Equity Act, Labour Relations Act and Basic Conditions of Employment Act. Job posts that violate these laws will be removed without refund.
8. Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by South African consumer law. See our Refund Policy for full details.
9. Liability
Ubuntu AI Jobs is a marketplace. We do not employ candidates ourselves and are not party to any employment contract between users. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by South African law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Western Cape.
