Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel any subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal — you keep full access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Refunds

• 7-day cooling-off: First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of their first payment, provided the AI features (CV generation, cover letter, match score) have been used fewer than 3 times in total. After this threshold the refund will be pro-rated.
• Service outage: If the platform is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault, we will issue a pro-rated credit on request.
• Duplicate charges: Always refunded in full within 5 business days.
• Free tier: No refunds apply — the free tier has no fees.

How to request a refund

Email billing@ubuntuaijobs.co.za with:

• Your account email
• The transaction reference (from your bank statement)
• The reason for the refund

We aim to resolve refund requests within 5 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

Consumer Protection Act

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
